2016 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards results

We are thrilled that our author Richard Nunns won at last night’s Ockham NZ Book Awards in Auckland! He won the Judith Binney Best First Book Award for Illustrated Non-fiction for Te Ara Puoro: A journey into the world of Maori music. Unfortunately, due to ill-health, Richard was unable to attend, but his daughters, Molly and Lucy Nunns, received the award on his behalf.

Our friends at Auckland University Press also had a winner last night. Chris Tse won the Best First Book for Poetry Award for his collection How to be Dead in a Year of Snakes.

Congratulations to all of the winners! See the full list of winners here.
